  • been personally involved in the ongoing legal challenge to the Kansas sodomy statute (see "amicus briefs" link below).
  • interviewed prospective witnesses.
  • participated in planning sessions with local and national ACLU and Lambda Legal Defense Fund attorneys.
  • written and helped coordinate amicus briefs.
  • taken a role in providing information regarding jury selection in trials that involve gays and lesbians.
  • been active in the legislature, which meets in Topeka, concerning legislation that impacts gays and lesbians.
  • attended the national LavLaw Conference sponsored by the National Lesbian and Gay Law Association.
  • made legal documents on current Kansas cases available via the Internet.
  • provided information on the State of Kansas v. Limon sodomy case (2002)
  • provided information on In Re Gardiner (2001)
